Something I adore about the environment that I live in here in Rome is that I get to meet so many people from all over the world. Being your typical introvert, I prefer one-on-one conversations, quite corners, blending in… So that allows me to enjoy investing in getting to know people slowly.
I absolutely love this funny Aussie-Italian chick. She is always kind and fun to be around. She is a natural encourager of people and is passionate about defending what is right. Her smile is contagious. In a season of trusting and trying to follow and walk on water, she is an example of obedience. I’ve heard, “do it scared.” I watch her do that very thing.
We went to my favorite spot in Rome for brunch (review of the place coming soon). I’m still dreaming about how much I loved the eggs benedict. But that, my friend, is a story for another day. After that, we wandered the ancient streets in the city’s center, got the best gelato in Rome, told stories, laughed, and said ciao for the day. It was a beautiful morning, spent with a beautiful friend.
