Ostia Antica was the harbor city of ancient Rome. Named after the “mouth” of the river Tiber, today is a day trip from Roma, filled with excellently preserved buildings, frescoes, and mosaics.
This is what I love so much about Italy. I love old things. I love things that tell stories. I love getting lost in my imagination. I love turning a corner on a random little street, only to look up and see something magnificently breathtaking.
